The Literary/Arts Administration intern works in the Premiere Stages office at Kean University alongside the four person staff. The intern primarily assists with the Premiere Play Festival, including organizing and evaluating script submissions, assisting with casting, and supporting the Spring Reading Series during Kean University's spring break. The intern also gets a foundation in arts administration, assisting with educational residencies, grant writing, and the administrative process of running a small regional theatre.
The ideal candidate will love reading and talking about plays, have strong attention-to-detail and computer skills, be self-motivated, and possess lively interpersonal skills.
Fall and Spring semester internships are available only for students of Kean University.
