      Masterclasses

Bringing world-class artists to Kean University!

Guest artists teach carefully crafted masterclasses and participate in interactive question-and-answer sessions with Kean University students and members of the campus community.

Past artists have included Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage; Pulitzer Prize nominee Lee Blessing; Academy Award winners Richard Dreyfuss, Olympia Dukakis and Ellen Burstyn; Tony Award winners David Henry Hwang, John Lee Beatty, William Finn and Norbert Leo Butz; and Tony Award nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega.

In 2020, we are announcing a summer of digital learning and inspiration: Master Classes Online. Joining us via Zoom, guest artists will include Pulitzer Prize winner Martyna Majok, Smith Blackburn Prize Finalist Celine Song, and more.

Please email Nick at ngandiel@kean.edu for more information regarding upcoming masterclasses.
