Premiere Stages Play Festival
Play Festival 2022 submissions will be accepted in September 2021
Premiere’s flagship new play program is a regional competition that develops four exciting new plays each year. One play is later fully produced and another is workshopped to further hone the script. The Festival has supported the work of artists like Dominique Morisseau, Keith Josef Adkins, Rogelio Martinez, Vincent Delaney, Tammy Ryan, and many more.
To fulfill our commitments to writers whose presentations were postponed during 2020 social distancing procedures, we will be carrying plays submitted last year into the 2021 season. Please see below for guidelines to submit for the 2022 Play Festival.
